Land Acknowledgement

This meeting takes place on N’dakinna, which is the traditional ancestral homeland of the Abenaki, Pennacook, and Wabanaki Peoples past and present. We acknowledge and honor with gratitude the land and waterways and the alnobak (people) who have stewarded N’dakinna throughout the generations. New Hampshire Sea Grant embraces the importance of collaborating with local indigenous partners to combine local and indigenous knowledge with scientific approaches to better manage our relationship with the ecosystems on which we depend.
