Collaborative Research Visioning Project
The Northeast Consortium and the University of New Hampshire Cooperative Extension are partnering on the “Collaborative Research Visioning Project,” which will assess the impact that collaborative fisheries research has had on the northeast region over the past decade. Social, economic, management and research capacity impacts will be determined through a visioning exercise involving a series of meetings with all stakeholders of collaborative research.
We expect the series of eight public meeting to occur in July and August, 2008. They will occur along the coast of Maine, New Hampshire and Massachusetts and will be geared towards all stakeholders of collaborative research. At least two project deliverables will be produced by October, 2008. These documents will be a large-scale regional impact assessment report and a brief one-pager.
