Seaweed Mania is going virtual this year! Join 3-time Food Network Chopped Champion, Chef Evan Hennessey, for a virtual culinary challenge featuring seaweed ingredients. Chef Hennessey will be cooking live from his restaurant kitchen, as he makes seaweed dishes ranging from complex recipes served at his restaurant to simple bites that can be made in your own kitchen.
Dr. Gabriela Bradt with New Hampshire Sea Grant and UNH Extension, will introduce types of seaweed that can be foraged on the New Hampshire coast. During the livestreamed event, Bradt and Hennessey will be available to answer your questions about collecting, purchasing, and cooking with seaweed.

Try it at home! Free grab bag "Seaweed Kits" will be available in the Dover Public Library Children's Room while kit supplies last. Seaweed Mania registrants will be notified when the kits are ready for pick-up. These free Seaweed Kits include ingredients from Maine Coast Sea Vegetables, recipe cards, and a waterproof seaweed identification guide for the New Hampshire coast.
